Mediation Cost Structure
- Hourly Tariff: Refers to the tariff per full hour or any portion thereof.
- Half Day Tariff: Refers to the tariff for 4 hours of mediation, not exceeding that time frame.
- Full Day Tariff: Refers to the tariff for 8 hours of mediation, not exceeding that time frame. All costs exclude VAT, which must be added. Additionally, all costs exclude expenses such as travel and accommodation, which will be charged to the parties' accounts.
Family Law, Divorces & Maintenance Disputes
- Hourly Tariff: R700 per hour
- Half Day Tariff: R2,600
- Full Day Tariff: R5,000
Commercial and Property Disputes
- Hourly Tariff: R1,200 per hour
- Half Day Tariff: R4,000
- Full Day Tariff: R7,600
Insolvency, Deceased Estates, and Trusts
- Hourly Tariff: R1,000 per hour
- Half Day Tariff: R3,800

Disclaimer
All actual work done beyond the time spent in mediation, such as drafting settlement agreements or correspondence, will be charged on an Activity-Based Charge (ABC) Principle, at the applicable hourly tariff times the actual time spent.
Disbursements will be charged as invoiced and/or incurred and are payable in addition to the applicable fees.
For the actual mediation to commence, the mediator must be engaged on a half-day or full-day basis, and the full fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable. For introductory and subsequent short meetings required after mediation, the mediator can be engaged on an hourly tariff, and a deposit, as determined by the mediator, will be payable in advance for such further engagement. Where advance payment is required and not made, the mediator reserves the right to delay or cancel the mediation until payment has been received.
